Vial Kits for chromatography provide convenience in ordering and managing matching screw top vials and caps.

Kit includes 1.2ml, clear, RSA™ glass MRQ™ vials and screw caps with matching threads for optimal vial sealing.

The MicroSolv™ MRQ™ vials are solid glass vials designed for use with autosamplers with side port needles such as Waters® Alliance and others. To maintain the critical bottom height of the bottom well and the shelf for maximum recovery, they are made with a "mandrel". You can rely on the internal dimensions to be the same from vial to vial and lot to lot which assures you of precision, secure samples and elimination of bottoming out on your autosampler and subsequent damage to you needles. 

These Reduced Surface Activity (RSA™) glass autosampler vials are designed and manufactured with a pristine interior surface that is not coated or treated in any way but lacks the typical silanol sites (hydroxide groups) other vials, even "Certified Vials" will have. This means that basic compounds will not adsorb to your glass before injection thus allowing more accurate and precise data especially when your analytes are in low abundance.

The proprietary RSA™ manufacturing process does not use any grease or additives that causes other vials to increase the pH of water diluents in the vial (over a 4 hour period) by as much as 1.5 pH units. Also, this unique process does not drive metals such as sodium or magnesium to the surface or add any metals which makes them excellent for LCMS, GCMS, Bioanalysis or when metals will chelate with your samples. RSA™ offers unmatched consistent, accurate and reliable results which is especially important when your analyses are critical^*.

The Soft-Guard™ Screw Caps that are inlcuded with this kit are knurled on the sides for excellent gripping and comfort when applying to the vial. The silicone rubber / PTFE septa used were designed to provide the right amount of resistance to autosampler needles during the injection process so that they penetrate the vial properly without damaging the septa or the injection needle. Too much or too little resistance to the needles can damage the septa, compromise resealing, cause needle blockage from coring of the septa material and even damage your autosampler. These septa perform even when using a wide range of needles: fine, blunt or even dull. Low sample or solvent evaporation performance even after multiple injections have been observed when using Soft-Guard™ caps.

Vials and caps are packaged separately inside the kit which includes a clam shell over pack which can be used on the bench to dispense the vials and caps. Each kit includes 100 vials and 100 caps. 1 PK.
